Meet Keith Brown

Keith P. Brown was elected to the New York State Assembly in 2020. Utilizing his legal expertise and small business background, Keith immediately sought to provide help to the small business community and boost economic growth for Long Island. In an effort to keep our communities safe, he is seeking to restore greater judicial discretion and repeal bail reform measures. Keith is also committed to lowering taxes, creating a cleaner Long Island Sound, and seeking greater investment from the state to address water and sewer infrastructure needs.

Making Long Island Safer, Smarter, and Cleaner

SAFER

I fought to improve public safety and tackle the opioid/fentanyl crisis head on by introducing legislation to make a wider variety of opioid reversal agents available (A.10193, K. Brown).

SMARTER

I prioritized building an emotionally supportive educational environment in our schools by dialing back on cellphone usage in school during classroom instruction (A.9687, K. Brown), and protecting children from exploitative features in online products (A.8314, K. Brown) as well as addictive social media platforms (A.8148-A, A.8149-A).

CLEANER

I helped to improve water quality around the Island by co-sponsoring the Suffolk County Sewer Commission (A.8993) and protecting the environment by co-sponsoring the Packaging Reduction and Recycling Infrastructure Act (A.5322).”
